Green fees, cart fees, driving range, bag tag, divot tool, box lunch and transportation are included in the event fee of $230 per person. Club rental is available for an additional fee.

Women's Heritage Trail Tour & Lunch

Delight in the sights and stories of the strong-minded women who made Miami happen. You will hear about the early eccentric pioneers and their stories of adventure and hardship in the Florida wilderness and you will retrace the steps of the “Mothers of Miami” Julia Tuttle and Mary Brickell who battled a harsh and lonely existence along the shores of Biscayne Bay and decided to single-handedly change the history of the whole region by bringing the lifeline of Flagler’s railroad to South Florida. In addition, you will experience the hidden places where strong women worked quietly to bring culture and education to America’s last frontier. And, finally, you will explore the life of aviation-pioneer Amelia Earhart; learn of the foresight of environmentalist Marjory Stoneman Douglas; and find out how now-gleaming South Beach was saved from being ripped down by the voice and dramatic actions of preservationist Barbara Capitman. During the tour, you will visit various historic landmarks that are now famous due to the women who made Miami happen! Don’t miss out on this behind the scenes tour led by Dragonfly Expeditions, named by Condé Nast Traveler magazine as one of the best in the world! After your experience on the Women’s Heritage Trail, you will enjoy lunch at Chispa Restaurant. Chispa is an energetic contemporary Latin restaurant, which offers a unique combination of cuisine, ambience and service. The menu bursts with flavorful interpretations of Latin favorites featuring a grand selection of innovative dishes reflective of traditional Hispanic food customs. Chispa blends authentic cuisines with reflections of Old World Culinary culture from the Spanish Caribbean to Latin America in a New World setting.

Please Note: Travel time is approximately 30 minutes each way.

*15% of the gross profits of this tour go directly to the Dade Heritage Trust to support their preservation efforts.

Tropical Deco in a Fabled Playground Tour (Art Deco Architecture Tour)

Encounter the Art Deco tour that captures the glitz and glamour of the roaring twenties and thirties in our nation’s only Art Deco Historic District. This is your chance to experience the thrill of a city that defiantly danced ’til  dawn through the prohibition, the depression, major hurricanes, and two World Wars. Here the Playboy/flapper lifestyle was the only way to live, and as the warm breezes tempted you to free yourself of the confines of more formal clothes, the incoming tide would hint of the clandestine import that you’d be sipping at a swinging speakeasy late into the night. Recall the larger than life personalities and world famous events that re-shaped society, architecture, and even the island itself.

During the tour, you will visit many Art Deco landmarks including the first hotel ever built on Miami Beach; Casa Casuarina, the famous home of Gianni Versace; and the imaginative and playful art deco lifeguard stands lining the beach like pastel-colored toy soldiers. Chart the evolution of architectural styles while unique and evocative Art Deco landmarks serve as signposts to an era that looked forward to the future and celebrated progress, innovation, adventure, and freedom.

As your guide uncovers the eye-popping history of this unique destination, you will understand why millionaires, movie stars, thousands of soldiers, and countless others have fallen under the magical spell of Miami Beach. Don’t miss out on this behind the scenes tour led by Dragonfly Expeditions, named by Condé Nast Traveler magazine as one of the best in the world!

Please Note: Travel time is approximately 30 minutes each way.
