9:05am             Case Specific Advice -- Meeting the Client’s Needs.   In late 2005, the Office of Chief Counsel assembled a task force to study whether its procedures for providing technical and strategic legal advice to IRS personnel are keeping pace with the evolving business practices of IRS.  This panel will examine the findings and recommendations of the task force, and will highlight efforts currently underway to ensure that the legal advice provided by Chief Counsel is timely and responsive to the needs of IRS personnel.  Moderator:  Thomas J.
