IRS Updates: New Determination Letter Procedures, EPCRS and EB Audits

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO OBTAIN CLE CREDIT

You must return the Attendance Confirmation Form to obtain MCLE credit for this program in all states which accredit ABA teleconferences.  States not accrediting ABA teleconferences:  DE, IN, KS, OH, PA; GA attendance reported as in-house study credit, MS does not accredit the live webcast format, DE may accredit live webcasts as self-study. 

If you are seeking credit from AL, AR, CA, KY, MS, MO, MT, NY, NY and TN you must also return the Teleconference Evaluation Form. 

A copy of the forms will be e-mailed to registrants and will be available on the secure web site given to registrants for the materials.  You must fax the "Attendance Confirmation Form" and "Program Evaluation Form" to (202) 662-8682 within 48 hours of the program.

We have requested a total of:

1.50 CLE credit hours based on a 60-minute hour
1.80 CLE credit hours based on a 50-minute hour of this total

0 Ethics credit hours based on a 60-minute hour

0 Ethics credit hours based on a 50-minute hour

Are you licensed in a 60-minute or 50-minute hour MCLE state?

60-minute states are: AL, AZ, AR, CA, GA, ID, IA, KY, ME, MN, MS, MT, NV, NH, NC, ND, OR, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA and WY.

50-minute states are: CO, FL, MO, NM, NY, OK, RI, WV and WI. (Please note that in NY you will receive 1.5 CLE credit hours and in SC you will receive 1 CLE credit hour.)


MCLE Information

Earn MCLE credit (States not accrediting ABA teleconferences:  DE, IN, KS, OH, PA; GA max of 6 hours/year.) The ABA has requested MCLE credit from states accrediting teleconferences.  1.5 MCLE credit hours have been requested from states recognizing 60-minute credit hours and 1.8 credit hours from states recognizing *50-minute credit hours.  (*NOTE:  SC grants 1 hour, NY - see information below.)

You must register for the program to receive MCLE credit. If you have questions regarding the credit approved by any particular state, you may contact the ABA Service Center toll free at 1-800-285-2221 or Nancy Matthews at 202-662-8640 after the course identification number has been issued.  For other questions concerning MCLE credit, refer to the ABA’s web site at http://www.abanet.org/cle/mandatory.html

NY-licensed attorneys:  This non-transitional CLE program has been approved for experienced NY-licensed attorneys in accordance with the requirements of the new York State CLE Board for 1.5 total NY CLE credits.
