The majority of cases litigated under ERISA involve claims for long-term disability benefits. Taught by some of the country’s most experienced disability practitioners, this advanced seminar will delve into the practical details for prosecuting and defending these claims. This one-half day program will address the how to’s of long-term disability benefits: administrative claims and appeals, litigation, and benefits administration. The laws governing benefits administration and the practical concerns in addressing these provisions will also be discussed. Special pricing is available for attending both the Advanced Seminar and the ERISA Litigation National Institute.
